When We Are Closed.jpg)
An out-of-hours service to cover medical emergencies is available to patients and should be used only when the practice is closed.
Please telephone NHS 111. When the surgery is closed a recorded message will direct you to the Out of Hours service.
The out-of-hours service is located at:
Whipps Cross University Hospital, Leytonstone, E11 1NR
Telephone: 0845 0750494
Many common illnesses such as coughs and colds can be easily treated by visiting your local pharmacist, who can offer advice on how to look after yourself with rest and over the counter treatments.
If urgent, call the free NHS 111 number - a trained adviser will offer advice over the phone. If you need to be seen, they will be able to direct you to the best service for you to receive care. This service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is available via the British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter. Visit www.interpreternow.co.uk/nhs111/ for more information.
For immediate, life-threatening emergencies, call 999.
Download the Choose Well information leaflet HERE - Please note that Oliver Road Polyclinic is now closed
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
